Things to do at Fenton Lake State Park

Picnicking:  There are several picnic areas around the lake, where visitors can enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding landscape.

Camping:  If you want to spend the night in the great outdoors, Fenton Lake State Park has 37 developed campsites and vault toilets for when nature calls.  The lake is surrounded by beautiful meadows, forests and mountains, which provide a peaceful and serene setting for visitors to enjoy.

Fishing:  Fenton Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and home to the German brown trout, and fishing is one of the most popular activities in the park.  Whether you’re an experienced angler or just want to try your hand at fishing for the first time, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to cast a line here.  Wheelchair-accessible fishing platforms are available.  In the winter, ice fishing is an exciting experience.

Boating:  Non-motorized boats such as canoes and kayaks are allowed on the lake.
